The only time you’ll make out what Optimus looks like.

Transformers: Robots In Disguise #6

IDW Publishing (June, 2012)

WRITER: John Barber
ARTIST: Livio Ramondelli
LETTERER: Shawn Lee
EDITOR: Carlos Guzman
SELECTED COVER: Casey Coller (art) and Joana LaFuente (colors)

No longer going by Optimus Prime, Orion Pax meets up with Hardhead, Wheelie, and Garnak, who are keeping Jhiaxus from Cybertron. However, he finds a way to trick them, and bring back Monstructor.

What they got right: Tying up some loose threads, the return of some good characters, and a story focused on Optimus Prime.

What they got wrong: Again with the painted art style? Really? Look Livio Ramondelli is a good artist, but not a good COMIC BOOK artist. It just doesn’t work.

Recommendation: I didn’t enjoy looking at it, but I did like reading it. Give it a viewing.

Because I really don’t like this art style, I couldn’t get myself to get a Best Scene nomination out of it.
